Rebrand, positioning and idents
Help reposition Octopus Group as a brave branding and marking B2B agency.
Octopus Group have evolved a lot over the years, but their visual identity got lost along the way. At the start of 2016 they had an inconsistent and very dated brand, with no brand hierarchy or detailed brand book.
After joining the board, I took the group through a creative and brand workshop to align all founding members on the vision and aspiration for the company. This involved font, colour, design bravery, photography and tone exploration.
The next stage was competitor analysis and logo exploration. I made sure I crafted a brand that was big enough to play with and once the marque was agreed upon, I set about creating a series of idents.
